This is not a standard Valjoux 7750 modification. BBF has spent four years developing a true clone of the Unico architecture. This movement allows the column wheel to be viewed from the dial side, exactly like the genuine.

Many clients ask: “Why not stick with older factories like V6F?”
Here is the honest truth: While V6F made great watches in the past, BBF is currently the only factory mastering the HUB1280 movement architecture. Other versions often use modified 7750s that are too thick or lack the correct 60-minute counter capability. BBF achieves a case thickness of ~15.5mm, virtually identical to the genuine spec.
Full Disclosure: Due to the unidirectional winding of the HUB1280 clone, the rotor can be slightly audible in a completely silent room. This is a characteristic of the movement design and not a defect.

Common Questions about the Big Bang Unico
Q: Is this BBF version waterproof?
A: Out of the box, it is sealed for basic daily use (splash/rain proof). However, because this is a chronograph with multiple pushers, we strongly recommend a professional pressure test before swimming.
Q: How does the Flyback function work?
A: Just like the Gen, you can press the reset button (at 4 o’clock) while the chronograph is running. The hands will instantly reset to zero and restart timing immediately without needing to stop first.
Q: What is the biggest difference compared to Gen?
A: Visually, the watch is stunningly close. The main technical difference is the power reserve; while the Gen boasts 72 hours, the clone reliably delivers 48-50 hours, which is sufficient for daily wear.
