⚙️ Crucial Operational Guide (Please Read)
To achieve the correct dial layout and thickness using the Miyota 9015 base, the movement functions have specific characteristics:
- 1. Manual Month Adjustment: The Month display is NOT linked to the date wheel. It will not automatically jump from the 31st to the 1st. You must manually advance the Month using the side pusher at the start of every month.
- 2. The “Ghost Position”: When pulling the crown, Position 1 is winding, and Position 3 is time setting. Position 2 is a “Ghost Position” (Empty Gear). This is normal for this modified movement; simply pull the crown all the way out to Position 3 to set the time.
- 3. Use the Pushers: Day, Date, Month, and Moonphase are all adjusted via the recessed pushers on the case flank. Do not operate these between 9PM and 3AM.
Why the MX Factory Fiftysix?
MX Factory spent 18 months developing this movement to correct the balance wheel position and achieve the correct dial layout. It captures the retro charm of the Fiftysix collection perfectly.
- ✅ Box-Shape Sapphire: Features the unique, high-domed “glass box” sapphire crystal. It improves durability while retaining the authentic vintage distortion at the edges.
- ✅ Correct Dial Layout: Rectangular windows at 12 o’clock for Day and Month. The Date is indicated by a blued arrow hand on the outer ring, and the calendar hand is correctly stacked under the hour hand—a detail often missed.
- ✅ 18k Pink Gold PVD: The 40mm stainless steel case is plated in a warm, polished 18k Pink Gold, paired with a Maltese cross-inspired buckle.

Silver-white dial with a multi-tone finish. Platinum-plated Arabic numerals and baton markers complement the deep blue moonphase disc at 6 o’clock.

True-to-gen dimensions. The case lines are smooth and elegant, seamlessly connecting to the strap. Polished finish with 18k Pink Gold PVD.
MX Cal. 2460 Clone
Based on Miyota 9015. 28,800 vph. While the Month function is manual, the visual layout and button positions are accurate to the original.
Italian Calfskin
Imported Italian calfskin with a checkered texture. Fitted with a polished half-Maltese cross folding buckle.
